So a long one, bear with me.

So I've gone on a bit of a YouTube rabbit hole tonight about the Kardashian/Jenner family. Kylie has a daughter called Stormi who features all over Kylies social media and has done since birth and is often used to promote Kylie's products. In contrast she has a son that she has never shared pictures of and hasn't even shared his name.
Khloe is the same - her daughter, True is posted everywhere and anywhere. Her son - no pictures, no name. You wouldn't think either boy existed.
Kim is the same to a lesser extent - her social media is very girl heavy and she posts often about how "pretty" Chicago is while not mentioning her other three.

Now I am all for privacy for their children, but why are only boys afforded this? Rob was always the Kardashian that the fans were least interested in and it's almost like they're gearing up for the next generation to ensure they stay in the spotlight.

I just think it's weird how the girls are paraded constantly while the boys are obsessively hidden. There must be a reason.

Girls have their faces made up (promotes family makeup business) and pretty clothes (promotes family fashion business). Its money. Always money.

I wondered - in terms of Khloe and Kylie’s new baby sons - if they were starting to move away from posting their children online. Kourtney also now longer posts pictures of Mason, as he’s asked her not to. A lot of the Kardashians’ Instagram posts are product heavy these days, rather than pictures of their children.

I try and avoid them were I can but they are seemingly everywhere.

The strangest story I have read is of Kim taking one of hers (maybe Chicago) and a niece, I think True to Disney, and then posting a photo of Chicago and Stormi. Stormi was not only not with them, but she superimposed her head over True because the photo hadn't worked.

With the two new babies I think they’re doing what Kourtney did - trying to keep the babies ‘private’ to build up interest. Although the fact is nobody’s really interested.

Overall I think you need to think of their children as products. Girl children are better commodities than boy children because they are easier to dress up in the outfits and hairstyles to sell pictures and interest etc. Although at the beginning Mason was huge on account of being the first grandchild.

I saw this. Absolutely lunatic behaviour. If a child couldn’t be in the posted photo surely you just cut them out to show only your own child?

It showed a obsession with aesthetics so complete that she has literally lost touch with reality.

I think, down the line, memoirs by those children could beggar belief.

Everything is faked. There was this website that exposed fake scenes, I don't know where they got their info but the one that stood out was a scene where Kris asks Khloe to invite Rob to go on holiday to Armenia. Rob didn't go and the idea that they should invite him was filmed after they got back when they realised it might look bad.

Another one is Kris dramatically kicking off with ROB IS MY SON when the girls are slagging him off and everyone being stunned into silence. Filmed several times.

Rob has notably poor mental health I'm not surprised when his family are such phonies.

And do you know I've never watched more than a few clips, and never a full episode. I just retain crap.

I watched it as a teen, first few series, but haven’t seen any of the new ones. It was alright back then - fit in with the semi self aware daftness like Jersey Shore and the Paris Hilton show. Then it just all went nuts. I agree that a memoir by one of those kids would be crazy. Sorry, I mean it would be Krazy.

I remember when Kim first had North, Kanye wouldn't allow himself or North to be filmed and it was all clever camera angles. Clearly that went out the window.

Females make the money in the family there's less interest in boys. Totally toxic family.

Because little girls are easier to sexualise.
