7! Low because work was very tiring today.

My days are normally an 8 or a 9.

10! I have a week off (work in A&E and the pressure is huge). My DH works in A&E too and actually has time off with me ( we work back to back so don’t get a lot of time) and our DC. We have visited my parents and it’s been the first time in a while that we have felt relaxed and spent time as a family.

That's actually lovely. Happy for you. Well, so far so good! 😆 what a bunch of happy people.

successful play date for DS3, nice village event this afternoon, cosy fire and a film together this evening. Was nice.

went to dentist £65 lighter to be told I need penicillin for my infection = no alcohol for 7 days
root canal booked in for week before xmas

gets a 3 as my gum infection has meant I have been unable to eat so I’ve lost 2 lbs🤣

1. Buyers of our house pulled out because their own sale has fallen through.

My boss was really rude to me.

2 gradually getting better from a back problem that’s caused my life to grind to a halt for the last two weeks. I stood on a chair to reach into a cupboard . My ankle gave way , I twisted it and fell on the floor.

I'll go for a 3. Ex-H has decided to refuse to pay the extra cm I'm due because dc2 wants to be at mine more so I've gone to CMS and his reaction is to not pay any until "they sort it out". So now I'm juggling everything to make sure I can still pay everything coming up

Ooh a good 7 I'd say, birthday tea for my dad and lovely cuddles with baby nephew.

Mostly due to work. But also politics.

But in good news, I also went to the dentist, it only cost me 20 odd quid, and my teeth in good nick.

3 I am highly irritable today, I’m recovering from a bad back that shot my mobility to shit, and I got myself in a bit of a funk about the state of the UK.

Buuut just had a very lengthy chat with DH about it all (a problem shared and all that) which has brought me up to a 5, and I suspect I’ll wake up feeling around 6/7 ready to start again.

😭 I feel you. I was given the option of a root canal 2 weeks ago or I could have the tooth out - I had it out. It wasn't very painful at all, the injection was the worst part but that lasted a couple of seconds. I believe it is a lot cheaper than a root canal too? At least that's what I thought my dentist said. Is that an option for you perhaps?

Bad back. Bad ankle.
Work is pants. I have too much to do in the time available. I'm overdue AL, but have got too much on to be able to take it without fear of an enormous insurmountable pile when I return.
I've got imposter syndrome as a new manager.
DD is struggling with MH.
DH has work stress and family issues.
House is a tip. I haven't got the energy to tackle it.
Laundry is out of control.
I'm fat, my clothes don't fit.

I love sleep and it's something I do very well. But I can't find a pillow which I'm happy with.

I'm not a good daughter, niece or friend - I neglect all of these relationships.

My car passed its MOT today, against the odds. So that's good!

1. Day off work, lie in, went to the beach with my kids. Point off for a mild hangover.

9! On holiday, been down some caves and I've drink beer. Knocked a point off as had to wait for tea 🤣

I'm a nurse on annual leave but attended a really interesting training day, got to see some people I haven't for ages and meet new ones. Nice lunch.
Watched an episode of Stranger Things with DH and 2 of 3 DCs (one always seems to opt out of family TV watching despite how rarely we do it), as it's half term so no homework needing doing.

Lost 2 marks for having awful back pain all day from seating during training (I'm usually up and down all day) and having to spend 2 hours driving.

I think that's my standard day, nothing went wrong, got enough work done, got enough sleep, DS is happy enough.

Got activities planned for next few days so hoping for 8s.
