Settling an argument with a friend... while is your favourite Rocky film?

Probably not technically the best film but there are a few moments in Rocky 3 that I love.

Emily1583 · 25/10/2022 21:36

First is obviously the best but I also have a soft spot for the Tommy Gunn streetfight one.

emmaliz · 25/10/2022 21:39

Rocky 4 is the best!

Theydoyaknow · 25/10/2022 21:40

4!

GlitchStitch · 25/10/2022 21:40

Rocky 4 is the best film and best soundtrack.

emmaliz · 25/10/2022 21:42

And the best montages 😂

WhatsTheEffingPoint · 25/10/2022 22:23

Rocky 3 then 4

WhatsTheEffingPoint · 25/10/2022 22:23

Rocky 3 then 4

Vitriolinsanity · 25/10/2022 22:24

Oh come on, the first one. The steps, the sweat, ADRIENNE!

YouCantBeSadHoldingACupcake · 25/10/2022 22:35

Rocky 3, followed by 1, then 4, then 2 and I try to forget the others exist

SiobhanSharpe · 25/10/2022 22:36

The Rocky Horror Show is better than any of those.

merlotlover · 25/10/2022 22:37

Omg 4 all day long! Best soundtrack too

FlickyCrumble · 25/10/2022 22:37

The first one.

RavenT · 25/10/2022 22:45

Rocky 2.
Where she whispers to him from her hospital bed 'win!'.
Most romantic moment in film for me 😉😁

HardRockHallelujah · 26/10/2022 05:29

Seems Rocky 3 is very popular. We just watched 4, which is my favourite. Friend is saying the first one, I remember it being a bit dull, with a lot of rain. Maybe I should watch it again?

Rocky 4 is the best!

Cassavaflower · 26/10/2022 06:45

There is a big difference between best and favourite. Rocky 4 is my fave I love the soundtrack

the First was cute but after that they are awful. Interesting fact that Ernie Shavers, who was a heavyweight contender at the time, was pencilled in to play the part of the opponent in Rocky 3. When he met Stallone he was surprised to see that the actor was actually more of a middleweight than a heavyweight and when they sparred together he let a body shot go on the actor who ended up in agony on the floor. So Stallone had to let him go as he said, ‘No-one will believe I could beat you!’ The part went to Mr. T. The Rocky films were complete and utter fantasy.
