Ah, thank you for sharing the photo, OP - you've really raised my spirits. I was so looking forward to the partial eclipse, but it clouded over dramatically here around 10.45am and rained hard.

We were lucky and had clear skies and sunshine just at the right time. Colleague and I did the pin hole in a piece of paper trick, and could see it clearly.

I was so lucky the rain stopped and the clouds cleared just after the eclipse began, and it remained clear just long enough to make the viewer and get a good look. Dh was also thrilled, but teenage ds couldn't have been less bothered. He was just as uninterested when the space station was visible over our garden.

We may have to disown him.
