Horrendous toothache please help

I can’t sleep!! I’ve had codeine ibuprofen paracetamol.. brushed teeth and rinsed with salt water used anbesol liquid and the pain is absolutely unbearable. I’m in tears.

Oh @Gossipxox i really feel for you. If you have any onion or garlic, chewing on that might help. Can you see the dentist in the morning?

Will try the garlic.. I’ve tried it before and it did offer a bit of relief it’s just the smell. I had tried to phone them last week as my teeth have been niggly and had little bouts of toothache but couldn’t get through. Will be phoning them first thing and if no luck will be phone 111. It’s absolutely horrendous 😭

If you have any soluble aspirin put one on the gum at the site of the tooth.

I do!! Will deffo give it a try. I can’t even lie down the pain just gets worse.

Do NOT put soluble aspirin on the gum - it will cause chemical burns.

Clove oil! You can get it in boots. I never believed it but then I had a tooth abscess, I was breastfeeding so had to be extra careful with pain killers and tried it out of desperation.

it stinks to high heaven but it works instantly and you can keep reapplying it.

Managed to have some sleep but still in agony I’m at the dentist in the morning.. I did try the aspirin but it didn’t do anything. I’ve used clove oil before but I find the anbesol liquid is better.. I’m going to get some oragel and keep on with pain killers. Can’t even have a cup of coffee which is murder since I have an 11 week old baby.
