Man-post-vaccine-flu....
Dh had a flu jab today. Him and DS were seeing nurse for DS' asthma and Ds was offered one and she also offered DH. Not sure if because he also has asthma or because they had doses that needed using up!
She mentioned he might experience side effects.
Now me, when I'm told that, usually assume that it's just the standard warning and the full list of side effects is unlikely to hit me.
Not DH, he came home telling me it's a good thing he's not working tomorrow as he will be recovering from the vaccine... then had to have a little lie down on the couch "because of my vaccine". He did everything except get out The Dressing Gown of Doom.
Quite honestly, he got up at 6:15 this morning, did 4 hours of hard physical work then spent the entire afternoon rushing the kids to various appointments, so I don't blame him for being tired. Especially as he had to take DS to an activity this evening. It's just the pity party due to "my vaccine".
To be fair, post Covid vaccines which do often cause reactions, I guess we've been programmed to prepare for them. But honestly. My eyes were rolling so far round my head I could see behind me.
