Does anyone else anthropomorphise inanimate objects?

I know that it's completely illogical but I always have to rescue the teaspoons if they're sitting in a pool of water in the sink while waiting to be washed. I always feel like they're drowning.

And not an inanimate object but I feel like a murderer when I have a living basil plant and pull the leaves off for a recipe.

Is anyone else guilty of the same?

I stack patterned china bowls and plates together, so they are with their friends......😁

I chat to Henry hoover when I'm hoovering and roll my eyes at him when he's being dramatic ie rolling over or getting stuck somewhere 😂

My dd bought home two pumpkins Ystd, one is short and round and one is tall and slim so I've named them Burt and Ernie. I now say hello Bert and hello Ernie every time I walk into the room.

I talk to my little car encouragingly if we have to go up a big hill.
