Insect bites or something else? (photo included)

I have three dots on my foot. Very itchy at times. Sometimes my whole foot feels warm but not all the time.
I noticed my foot my itchy about a week ago but I didn't pay much attention.
I did a lot of walking the other day and I think my shoe irritated it. The dots looked a bit purple yesterday but these are them now.

I'm starting to think my horrible foot photo has scared everyone off.

To me it looks like your foot has rubbed on your shoe rather than bites -three dots I’m not sure what would have a bite like that. What kind of shoes were you wearing? Unless you were barefoot I wouldn’t think that these were bites
Because the skin is missing from the top I tend to think that this was caused by your shoes-or Is it because you were scratching so much you took the skin off ?
Apply some hydrocortisone cream on it and the Itch and swelling should reduce
It does not look infected to me either. Taking a antihistamine may also help but if it continues to be problematic or if the area becomes very red hot and swollen or if you notice pus go to the doctor.

It does look a bit like bites that have been rubbed by your shoe.
Do you have pets? Fleas like to bite ankles and feet.

I was thinking bites because my foot was a bit itchy for a few days but there weren't obvious marks like there is now. We have a cat but she is indoors only and noone else has any bites at the moment.
I don't think my shoe alone has made the marks, I haven't worn any different footwear lately.
Probably combination of bites and shoe.
It was the fact that the marks looked so purple yesterday and the foot suddenly getting warmer that was concerning me a bit.
