So I want to buy DS some sort of STEM kit that involves some soldering and circuits then maybe a bit of coding BUT he is 12 and will think any of the ones aimed at kids are boring. So I've been looking at ones aimed at teens bit honestly the way the descriptions are written I feel like I need some sort of engineering degree to understand if what I'm buying is what I want/need.
Does anyone have any experience and can recommend me kit or even a company to look at. He qould really enjoy something that once made had some sort of use rather than a toy car etc if that makes sense.
