Haven always used to do something for kids during half term. Fancy dress disco, maybe pumpkin carving or activities etc.

Derry is the best place in the UK for a Halloween break.

If you’re not necessarily looking for commercial events at some kind of a resort, then what about a stay in a town where Halloween is a a big deal? Places like Lewes and Whitby have extensive
Halloween celebrations - and you won’t be limited to some kind of expensive fabricated “experience” or staying in one place.

If you are looking for commercial and fabricated though, Fright Night at Thorpe Park was well received by friends who went last year.
