Spam emails

I am usually careful with my email address but somehow, someone has gotten hold of it so I am now being flooded with spam emails. Probably about 20 plus a day saying I’ve won a Currys or Argos competition, UPS are trying to deliver to me, my McAfee has run out or I have won an airfryer. I am shifting them from my inbox to spam without reading them but they keep coming. I assume my email address is just sold on time and time again. They won’t stop will they? Just wondering if I need a new email address.

Your email will gradually start sending them straight to your Spam inbox as it learns the pattern of you deciding what is spam.

If some of them are unwanted, but not malicious, you can also click on 'unsubscribe' at the bottom of legitimate advertising emails.

Don't click on anything in them as it tells the scammer the account is live. Hover your cursor over the name in your mail list to see if it comes out accurate or 'djsfhsdfsdkh'. If the latter, block it without opening. I've had to do this too.
