Got any stories of when being strong headed got you your way?
On a holiday in Portugal one year a family next to us were harassing others at a pool, not letting people enjoy the pool in peace, etc. Their children would throw toys in and out of the pool at other people and splash about violently all the time. I remember the staff having a chat with the parents to no avail. I hate confrontation, but it got to the point where when a blow up toy was thrown my way I was keeping it under my chair so as to talk to the parents. They didn’t seem all to bothered about their families behaviour so one of the times when they came to collect a few toys I just burnt a hole in each of them with my cigarette as I handed them back. They didn’t say a thing and no more inflatables were thrown about at the pool.
