Gatwick queues?

Anyone been through Gatwick recently? We have flight at 6.00 am but no luggage to check in and have premium security. Wondered if 4.30 arrival will be cutting it too fine???

We flew from Gatwick in the summer in a 6am flight and got there at 3am which gave us time to get through normal security and get breakfast with a little time to spare. Even with premium I’d feel like 4.30 is a bit late. We’re flying at 7am this week and planning to get there at 4 (but we like to have time to get breakfast).

The queues were small yesterday. But that is definitely cutting it too fine as they ask you to go to gate about an hour before the flight often.

We flew from Gatwick end of July and end of Sept. No queues at security either time. The queue at passport control coming back with kids was horrendous though.
