Stoov heated cushion

Has anyone got a Stoov cushion and are they any good? I’m considering buying one for DP as he suffers with back ache but at £100, I’d quite like to know if anyone can recommend them.
I’ve previously got him a heat pad which is ok but as it has to be plugged in and has a short lead, it’s quite restrictive
Thanks 😊

I saw an ad for them the other day - decided a hot water bottle is probably better!

@B1pbop 😂 I know what you mean, just thought a cushion might be a bit nicer

@YorkieTheRabbit Did you go ahead and get a Stoov cushion? Any feedback? I'm just looking at their website now and like you said, they are pretty expensive, but the cordless feature makes them attractive to me.

Just seen an influencer advertise them as paid ad after been gifted a second one.

if they were that good she would have purchased a second a year ago herself instead of the kids fighting over the first one.

Overpriced in my eyes 👀

Mum has arthritis- so looking to a safer alternative to hot water bottles. Stoov won’t be it for the the reason above so would love to know of any other good ones on the Market

I 2as looking at these but decided not to as the heated area of the cushion is 16cm x 20cm or something else ridiculously small. As far as I can make out it's a cushion with a hand warmer!

Bump as looking for a heated pad/cushion/mat to put on a office chair

I’ve got the large cushion. I use it for my iceberg feet, and it works fine for that….but I don’t recommend for a couple of reasons.
Mainly the price which is ridiculous. The cushion also only heats in middle on one side, and takes forever to get properly warm. It only gets warm…to the point I thought it was broken, but I think it’s just how it is. (Still warm enough eventually, but obviously nowhere near a hot water bottle) it does last all night though, and has solved my freezing feet without disturbing my partner. I’m glad I have it, but resent price and will not reorder.
