Suggestions for things to do in London (unusual solo visit).

I have some free time in London soon. I will be on my own, which is unusual for me. I need to be in the Shoreditch area & then Bond Street.
Can anyone give me any suggestions of nice things to do please, perhaps between or near these areas?

I like bookshops, and a bit of shopping maybe. I'm not bothered about museums or art galleries this time.
I'd like to go somewhere nice for breakfast too, if you have any recommendations.
Thank you.

Are you arriving at Euston? if the Wellcome Collection has reopened its bookshop, that would be a great place to start.

I like a good mooch around Spitalfields. Lots of lovely shops in and around the market. You could also wonder down to Leadenhall then to the Royal Exchange.

Thanks, will take a look at these.
Any other suggestions?

I would suggest spitalfields too, and if you're into Italian food, the massive Italian food hall, Eataly, is right by Liverpool Street. You can then get the Elizabeth line from Liverpool Street to Bond Street (opening on Monday!). If you wanted to look at books you could get off first at Tottenham Court Road and go to the massive Foyles.

Thanks @chocopuffs - the Italian place sounds nice. I will check out Foyles too.

Depends how much free time you have, but the river cruises are great to do on your own and I went up as far as the Tower of London and walked round that which was absolutely fascinating. Marvelled at the size of the Crown Jewels etc.

Thanks @CrotchetyQuaver . Can you get on & off the river cruises (like a bus),or is it one direct route?

If you don’t mind a bit of a walk, Daunt books on Marylebone High Street is amazing. The Ivy Cafe nearby does brilliant breakfasts.
The Oxford Street Christmas lights will be on from the 2nd November, and the others will follow about a week later. When are you going? Several of the big department stores already have their Christmas departments. Fortnum and Mason is close to Bond Street.

If soon is Nov 5th, there's a small art fair within Spitalfields which is very cool. The artists man their own stalls so you can have a chat with the person who created the works you're looking at

Oh yes, I had forgotten that many of the shops will start to display their Christmas decorations. I will look at F & M whilst nearby.
I'm going in this next week.
