And I’ve got a date for a phone assessment on 3 November. I’m worried they might trip me up If anything at all doesn’t exactly match up with what I’ve written. I’ve googled but can’t find out if I can ask for a copy of my form. I just didn’t think to take a copy before I posted it off. Does anyone know if/how I can ask ? I’ve heard that they try catch you out so I’d really like a copy of what exactly I wrote. Also has anyone recently had a phone assessment? If so, what was it like ? Was it long? Did you feel like they were trying to trick you? Im really worried about messing it up.

Ring them up and ask.

They don’t try and trip you up! Just tell the truth and you have nothing to fear!

I've had a zoom assessment with them. Tell them what your worst days are like. Be very clear about what you can't do.
Read the report they send you with a fine tooth comb. I told mine id left my hearing aid at home. Which I had. But I'm only deaf in one ear. So I could hear the conversation fine as I have a one sided head set at work.
She wrote that I didn't need the hearing aid. I'm still contesting it 6 months later.

Thanks so much. I’m hoping I’ll be able to hear ok as I’m going to have to put speakerphone on If it’s a long call. I have two hearing aids and the loop thing is useless in on them. It’s a relief to know they’re not trying to trip you up . Is it best to describe just the worst days - my condition can be variable from being barely able to get out of bed the pain is so extreme, unable to shower , bend etc to being fairly mobile when after I’ve had steroid injections and nerve blocks and haven’t dislocated anything etc. i can go from relatively ok one minute to in acute pain unable to more than hobble to the loo and back to bed, the next. It’s really bare to describe an average day,

It’s really hard to describe an average day I meant
