If you've done a road trip from San Fransico with kids, was it fun? Worth it?

Thinking of visiting friends in San Fran next July, then driving down the coat - Yosemite, Monterey, Big Sur....

Have you done it? Did you have a good time?

We did last year, me and DS7 and 12

They loved:

San Francisco, exploratorium, blue and gold boat tour, children's creativity museum, and the academy of science

Trip over the GG bridge to Sausalito

Dave and busters

Santa Cruz boardwalk

Monterey bay aquarium

Oakland zoo
