Smear test results

Still waiting for test results after a test on 22nd September.

Anyone else had along wait?

(I know I need to call gp but It's always ages to get through to the GP so 20-30 minutes sometimes longer and I never have time to call or wait that long so have to take a day of leave)

Can you email GP or pop a letter in asking them to chase it up?

I had a smear on Wednesday and was told results would be six to eight weeks! I'm sure it wasn't that long when I last had it done. I'm in wales so not sure if it's the same where you are. But yes, maybe a call to the surgery to chase it up?

Could write a letter @Wotrewelookinat genius idea. Or I could call in person thinking about it now.

They don't have email but they have an online 'thing' but is website based not app based so is clunky to use

@Stropalotopus83 I wondered if there was a back log usually I just don't even notice but this is a recall after a year.

I had mine on the 22nd and got results back a couple of weeks ago. Could be different for different areas though and they usually say could be a few weeks.
