Do you use Whatsapp desktop? I've got a problem

My whatsapp desktop was working fine until today when it refused to load. I followed instructions to uninstall/reinstall and it appears to have been upgraded, new graphics etc. Ok, so far. But I find I can't make desktop calls or use video anymore because there's no icons to click on like before. Whatsapp help says you can still make calls & videos from your desktop, so how do I get the icons back?

I had the same issue this week. I didn’t uninstall anything, but went to the WhatsApp web page and installed the app again, and it is now working.

Is your OS up to date?

Try Whatsappweb instead of desktop app, I think it's better

What happens when you try in incognito mode?

Are you trying to call a group or an individual? It's not possible to video call a group on WhatsApp web. You probably know this already if you use it a lot but thought I'd comment just in case!

Just trying to call an individual as normal. I've no idea what Incognito mode is.
