I need to find a Christmas present for a 7 year old.

I haven’t seen him for a couple of years, so am out of the loop and don’t know what kids his age enjoy now. Budget would be up to £50 ish.

My nearly 7 year old loves this and it seems to be a hit with all his friends too.

I wouldn't take a guess because by 7 they have specific tastes and £50 could either buy something they would love, or be a big miss. My DS would be politely disinterested in the wires set but would love Pokémon stuff or a sparks razor scooter or a Neymar Jr shirt or an Oodie with pugs on it or Monster Jam Lego or Splatoon 3. If you ask the parents they can steer you in the right direction.

A big bucket of Knex
RC car
Marvin’s magic neon glow pad
Gravitrax starter set
Bop It
Geomag
Screwball scramble

Agree with the pp above who says check with parents. Tastes are so specific at that age, at 7 my DS was obsessed with Godzilla and Minecraft but lots of other boys that age are into football or lego etc. £50 is a lot of money to waste so best to check.

There are some really good sledges in Costco at the moment for about £30 normally £70- £100.
They sell out really quickly.
providing we get some snow it’s the fasted sledge we’ve ever had. We had my sons friends all wanting a go!
I can’t remember the actual name, it’s something like ‘snow storm’ ??

Thanks for your suggestions. I can’t ask the parents, so I’ll have a look at the recommendations here.
