What brand is this coat? Photo of logo attached

Hi, I've seen a nice full length coat in the charity shop but it's got the label cut out. The only identifying mark I see is this red MK initials.

I'm tempted to buy it but want to see if I can figure out what it's made from first as I'm avoiding polyester (it's a full length black coat - possibly wool blend).

Does anyone recognise this logo?? I tried a google image search but no luck.

It's similar looking to this. I'm hoping it's a nicer brand than Asda though!:

That looks more like someone's initials rather than a brand.

I don't think it's Michael Kors - there is no red in the Michael Kors label or logo. I have a few Michael Kors items. There is no other label whatsoever on the coat! Not even a fabric/material or size label.

If you google M K logo you can see it doesn't look the same as other Michael Kors logos -- but it may be an older version.

Really similar yes - but that's also like the Asda coat.

I think @sarge89 might be right though - perhaps someone sewed their initials in??

Is there any remnant of the label left? Like a bit of the colour maybe ?
