No, I think it's very poor behaviour. Once you allow broadcasters on our news channels to start having political bias, you end up with news channels like in the US.
Would it be acceptable to interview Maya Forrester and call her a transphobic cunt? Or call Greta Thunberg a privileged brat. Of course not. We'd be outraged. Broadcasters don't have to be like their interviewees, nor even respect them, but to be abusive about them is not acceptable, whether you like the person or not.
