What do you/ other countries call Chuggers?

You know, the people with clip boards who approach you in the street asking you to donate money to worthy causes. We’ve always called them Chuggers which is some kind of combination of Charity/Mugger.

Aha, you've reminded me of a random passing thought i had yesterday whilst waiting at a bus stop. Some chuggers walked past and i wondered why we call them that!
