Flu vaccine missed

Totally my fault but my children have both missed their flu vaccine at school.
There was a letter in their book bags and I forgot to return it - now I've missed it. Can I just leave it? Will it be ok if the majority have had it or should I try to arrange via the doctors?

Our school do a catch up session for those off ill etc that day so might be worth checking if they are doing one.

One of my DC missed their flu vaccine last year - the vaccination team turned up at the primary school too late in the day to vaccinate all the children before hometime.

The school said that they (the school) weren’t able to provide details of any catch up clinics as they were all organised by the immunisation team. But we’d filled in the consent forms ahead of time, so we were automatically emailed details of a local catch up clinic by the immunisation team. The catch up clinic was at a community venue rather than at the school.

If you still have the consent forms, do they have contact details for the immunisation team? Might be worthwhile contacting them directly to ask about catch up clinics in your area.

@CryCeratops Ok, thanks for this. I'll have a look on the forms.
