Saw these mentioned on here ages ago.

Can you use them for firefighting?

This makes no sense what so ever. I meant candle lighters

Candle lighters. Confused

And firelighters- lighting fire lighters.

🤣
I have a USB candlelighter and would say it is only good enough to light a candle or a piece of paper. It doesn't emit a flame so you have to be quite accurate with it.

Thank you @Bumpinthenight for joint in my conversation with myself Grin

Does it get hot and glow? I think it might be if for the eco firelighters which are wood shavings?

It's like a bit of electricity between the two sides.
Hard to explain!

It doesn't get hot or glow.
Just one hair stand width to light from.
It might do wood shavings. It wouldn't do a firelighter.

It might work - build your fire with some paper sticking out through the grate. Light paper. If it catches, it'll be the same as lighting with a match or a lighter.
If you us firelighters or very thin sticks of dry wood, your chance will be better.

I so miss lighting a fire. I do not miss cleaning out fireplaces or all the dust in the room.

@Bumpinthenight I think I'll invest just for the candles. I'm intrigued.

It's a stove so it's not quite as dusty but still annoying to clean though
