Keep thinking I can smell burnt plastic...... weird.

Last night, I thought I could smell burnt plastic, I had the fire on in my stove, and thought maybe there was a piece of plastic in my coal bucket, and I inadvertently shoveled it into the fire.

Today I am in work, and I have a very faint smell of burnt plastic, not wearing any of the same clothes. There is no burning plastic.

Has anyone ever experienced this? Very weird. I feel a bit shivery; I wonder am I coming down with something?

YES !!! I’ve been going around sniffing electrical devices checking if the the smell is coming from them !!
it’s been since I had covid in the summer !

When I got my sense of smell back after covid, for months I could smell smoke and burning. I was paranoid that there was a fire somewhere in the house. It eventually tailed off and I thankfully haven't has it since.

Did an at home test, and it was negative.

No smell of burnt plastic today, but I'm exhausted. I'm in work, my legs feel a bit weak, and I'm tired.

🙂don't know if it's all in my head or what...... I had some wine last night, so that would explain the tiredness, ...I think I might have had an underlying sinus issue as well. It's the time of year for minor illnesses.
