Went to a 6th birthday party recently and all the children sat around the table in silence it was very strange
they did play together well, imaginary games and things but when it comes to chatting they just don't seem to know how to socialise with each other. It was honestly the weirdest thing I've seen in a while they were all just sat in silence at the table . A group of kids that all know each other and are friends at school.
my 5yo will just say things "at" his friends and they will just say things "at" him but it seems really unusual
is it that they've all missed out on a lot of social interaction during key development years and are just behind in that way?
has anyone else noticed this?
