What was your best, most moving present for your 50th birthday?

My very beloved friend, and old flat mate is 50 shortly. She is the closest I have to a sister and we are separated by geography and responsibilities. I love her. What shall I send for her 50th? She’s having a party/dinner but I’m not able to be there.

healthy budget, she’s a sentimental sausage, bright and funny, and a bit esoteric. All ideas welcome.

My children made me a big card - outside covered in black and white photos from throughout my life. Inside had a loving message made out of sweetie wrappers in place of key words eg Dear Mum this may seem a bit ‘Random’, something about me being a smartie, something else about hearing a Wispa. It was all very clever and I really appreciated the thought that went into it. They enjoyed the sweets apparently!
