Electric throw, where still has them?

So late to the game and can’t seem to find an electric throw. Managed to send DH to an Argos an hour away to get an electric blanket. How much does it say about the current shit situation that everywhere is sold out of electric throws. And I’ve just seen a thread saying the price cap might go up again after winter.

I got one from John Lewis at the tail end of last week.

Sennedd · 17/10/2022 15:40

Lakeland?

Trying81 · 17/10/2022 15:47

Home Bargains had some in store

JD Williams / Very have some online

MrsMitford3 · 17/10/2022 15:52

@NoSki I had the same-looking for one for DS's always cold GF. Spend a ridiculously long time looking online.

Lakeland was out of stock, as was John Lewis but they will send a reminder when back in stock-which I received last week.

But Lakeland stocks Dreamland-which are highly rated so I googled them and ordered from their website.

Lots of experts saying they are economical and better than heating so not surprised there is a stampede for them!

John Lewis out of stock.
Found a ridiculous one on Lakeland, but it’s dreamland. Will try their website direct thanks!

I have the Glamhaus ones from Robert Dyas and looks like they might still have some in stock, if not the same colour

EdHelpPls · 17/10/2022 16:16

I saw some Dreamland ones in Dunelm the other day. Might be worth looking at.

Hi @NoSki Thanks for posting! If you're still looking, take a look at our article on the best heated throw blankets. It was written with the help of Mumsnet user recommendations and consumer reviews. Most of the suggestions are still in stock, so we hope this helps. Do let us know what you think of the article. 😀

I got ours from manomano, they still have them in stock online and were cheaper than I could find on the high street!

SmileyClare · 14/11/2022 11:30

The budget one recommended by mumsnet is described as size 45cm x 10x 30cm.

Thats tiny isn’t it? Confused ok if you wanted to warm one arm.
