Missed spots of visual field check

Hi all, I am after some reassurance! I had routine eye test today (last one approx 2 years ago). I am short sighted, pretty high prescription.
my prescription has changed slightly. Eyes look healthy according to optician and pressure normal.
however, I missed some of the spots on the visual field check on both eyes. I have been asked to re do it in around 6 weeks time.

I am now worried about what it could mean!

I did do my test without my glasses on. I am sure I usually do it with contact lenses in. Is this likely to have affected it???

They should have let you keep your glasses on. I do have peripheral vision issues soo do this test a lot and several times they've insisted I not wear glasses then seemed flummoxed when I didn't see any of the lights. I'm very short sighted so just couldn't see the lights. When I put my glasses on and redid it, I got the expected result.

Thanks @FatAgainItsLettuceTime . I could see the lights but they were definitely quite blurry! Hopefully next time I will get a better result. I am annoyed at myself for not insisting on keeping them on

I inevitably fail the damn field test every single time and the more anxious I get the more I fail!

I didn’t feel too anxious but am now! I do find the whole eye test experience exhausting though
