Has having a breast enlargement improved your life?

I've never had any boobs and I've never wanted any. Most clothes fit me and I can buy ordinary bras without spending the earth.

I have a friend who struggles with self esteem and is convinced having her boobs done will give her more confidence.

Obviously it's her money and she can do as she pleases with her body, but I just feel her issues go much deeper and whilst she might like having a larger chest, it's highly unlikely to be the thing that makes her happy.

Or am I completely wrong and it is in fact life changing if it's something you've always hankered after?

🤷🏼‍♀️

Not a one size fits all thing

I had mine done 20 years ago and yes, it changed my life. I felt so happy with my body afterwards and like I was finally in proportion. I've never regretted having them done. It was absolutely the right decision. I went from less than AA to a D cup. I have big hips and it made me look normal and stopped people being so cruel and unkind about my chest.
No it doesn't solve all your life issues but what would?

Yes it has increased My confidence but I also had an infection which was awful.

She needs to be prepared on what can go wrong as I was I. The camp of "it will never happen to me"

It did. It was shit it ruined it for me.

One side got an infection and it was shit. I had a drain on one side for six weeks.

I could see the implant at one point.

At the point they cut me open to look at the infection, about four pints of custard flew out of my breast.

I felt fine in general, no hotness, no fever, no fatigue but I knew it wasn't right.

Make sure she looks at the aftercare package

If anyone wants infection pics please say I would hate anyone to go through the same xx

I lost 7 stone for health reasons and found my boobs were just flaps of skin with nothing in them anymore. I couldn't swim because the skin would just float out of the top of swimwear and flop out. If I bent over they would spill out of bras. I ended up wearing compression vests or using lots of tape to keep myself decent. It was humiliating and I had no confidence because of it. I was happier when I was morbidly obese. So my boob job was absolutely worth it and improved my confidence.
