Looks like a type of beetle?

MyGirlDaisy · 16/10/2022 14:24

I think it might be a type of Weevil

Brigante9 · 16/10/2022 14:27

Weevils have long noses.

Looks a bit like a louse fly, some have wings, some don't. They get carried by birds and some mammals they are disgusting things as they suck blood. We used to get them occasionally at our old house when the swifts that nested in the eaves left, they would crawl out. I used to clean out and disinfect the nest sites after that with bird safe spray, to kill off overwintering fly eggs. 😱

Thank you all for your suggestions. Think it may be a louse fly when checking Google images against it. Also found it crawling on my face.Yuck!
