Skipton girls school

I posted in secondary education but not many replies, so trying here
Just wanted to get some feedback on how people feel about the school in general, and how is the pastoral care, do dc there feel it is 'high pressure'?

I can't really answer your question and I'm probably too late anyway, but after much deliberation we've just put it as choice number 1 on the secondary application form for my daughter. We are out of catchment though so have to wait until March to see what happens. The latest results data, released last week, were not great as previous years and lower progress 8 and attainment 8 scores than both IGS and Ermysteds. The deputy head talked a little pastoral care at the open day, but it wasn't touched on as much as other schools did. At the end of the day being a smaller school was enough of a win for us.
