Diamond carats on Tiffany website?

Hello
When a diamond ring is given as say 0.78 carats like in the link below, does that mean just the main stone or that plus all the other wee diamonds round it?
Thanks

PS - this is not a stealth boast, I inherited this under horrible circumstances and am trying to work out approx valuation by comparing to similar on their website.

If it’s an inherited ring you’re better off getting it valued. Much like a car a ring loses its value as soon as it leaves the shop.

Thanks, yes we'll need to get an official valuation for probate I think as well as insurance but I'm just trying to make a start with a list seeing as I can't sleep! :-(

It'll be cumulative.

That would be the total of all the stones I would say, you're better off getting it appraised by a jeweller or auctioneer for probate. Secondhand values are much much lower than new.

Thanks all.

It's such a beautiful ring. We won't sell it. It deserves to be worn by someone in the family.

Tiffany rings would cost more than the equivalent diamond ring elsewhere and the small diamonds don’t add much to the overall cost.
