Live feed from around the world with weather details - early 2000?

Random nostalgia which I would like some help with!

years ago - early 2000 I think - my then boyfriend and I used to watch a weather broadcast while having breakfast before work. It was live footage from around the world with details of the weather. It was set to a sort of plinky plonky soundtrack.

I absolutely loved watched it while having my coffee and toast. It gave me the same feeling as being in a train station or airport. Watching people just going about their lives all across the world.

I think it was a filler for one of the early digital TV channels.

does anyone remember it?

now I am visualising my flat at the time I think it was maybe 2002/2005?
