I have to.

I missed on on MCR. Not missing this.

£203 per ticket for Birmingham.

WhereAreYouuuuu · 15/10/2022 23:36

It's says 50 to 92 for Manchester depending on where?

Yep. Dh looked at presale the other day but they were too much £.
Waiting for general sale to see if they're any cheaper.

Depends if they are dynamically priced which is now the latest scam. Ticket prices rise as everyone goes crazy trying to book seats. Worth a read about the Springsteen tickets for the US tour which went into $1000s before the customers very eyes and continued going up until you hit buy.

hugznotdrugz · 16/10/2022 08:51

I got presale tickets and they were 172 a ticket- but we got right at the front of seated for that. I've just a had look now and the only presale left are these ones. Also they're priced in accordance with demand- those tickets were around 130 when presale were first released.

When do they go on sale? Just looked on Ticketmaster but just says unavailable. I want standing for Manchester ideally.

Prinnny · 16/10/2022 08:56

Ah 10am tomorrow according to Google!

hugznotdrugz · 16/10/2022 09:03

@PPrinnny be ready right on 10am as well- there was a queue for 6k for presale

Prinnny · 16/10/2022 09:04

Yeah I managed to get arctic monkies tickets the other week but I suspect this may be more of a challenge 🙈

Namechangedforthis12456 · 16/10/2022 09:23

I’m really tempted but I’m annoyed that Tom is back and Matt is out. California and Nine were the best Blink albums for me… they won’t be the same in Tom’s voice. That’s if they even sing anything from them at all.

But yes… fear of missing out will have me trying anyway 😁

WhereAreYouuuuu · 16/10/2022 10:06

Tom's my favourite so I'm super happy.

I'm worried now. I don't understand why they can't stop ticket reselling.

I was putting the 50/90 on zilch so if its more I just can't go :(

Dynamic pricing or surge pricing via the lovely ticketmaster is going to price a lot out. It’s hideous.

It’s not the reselling site it’s surge pricing. If there is a high demand ticket price increases accordingly

Namechangedforthis12456 · 16/10/2022 10:40

How much is bog standard standing?

I’m going to try over on See tickets tomorrow. I refuse to acknowledge Ticketmaster’s scam pricing.

hugznotdrugz · 16/10/2022 10:50

@NNamechangedforthis12456 when I had first had a look on presale the standing was around 100

GellerYeller · 16/10/2022 10:55

We saw MCR and Green Day this year-totally worth the money but I was relieved my teen didn’t ask for Blink tickets when I saw the announcement they were back! If you don’t get them keep checking as they sometimes release more nearer the date of the shows. Good luck x

GellerYeller · 16/10/2022 11:00

Bought tickets pre-pandemic at standard prices by the way, no way I could afford this surge pricing scam business they apply now 😢

WhereAreYouuuuu · 16/10/2022 12:25

But why do they have to price surge?

Why not just have a set price and that it.

Like at the cinema?

fruitpastille · 16/10/2022 12:33

Whatever you do, DO NOT buy resale tickets from StubHub or other unofficial sites. If anything goes wrong it's impossible to contact them. We missed out on Green Day and I had to go through section 75 on my credit card to get a refund.

GellerYeller · 16/10/2022 12:39

They say it stops touts but it seems like touting to me. Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott have capped their prices for affordability. I know artists make their money from touring now as streaming doesn’t pay but price surging is unjust and shady.

USaYwHatNow · 16/10/2022 12:41

My husband paid £400ish for 2 tickets for London on the new date they released (Thursday). He's tried to see them twice in the last 10 years and they cancelled due to sickness both times. When he told me the price I did a hard swallow and walked away and told him to do what he needed to. They're literally his favourite ever band but honestly those prices made my eyes water 🥴. The American sites are even worse, some are going for about £2k!!

WhereAreYouuuuu · 16/10/2022 13:43

Ah I don't think I'll even bother trying then :(

It's sad, been a fan since I was a teen and never seen them play.

Oh well.

Do you or anyone you know have an O2 phone? Presale tickets showing available on their O2 Priority presale. Ends 10am tomorrow. Could be face value rather than inflated prices- worth a try? Do have a look as soon as the general sale starts if not, you could get lucky. You’ve waited this long, you deserve to be in that building! Let us know if you get them 🤞

hugznotdrugz · 16/10/2022 17:13

@GGellerYeller the only presale tickets are left in Manchester are on the screenshot I shared (so over 200 a ticket in the nosebleeds) there also doesn't appear to be any presale available at their other shows in the uk

GellerYeller · 16/10/2022 19:44

@hugznotdrugz sorry, I missed that x
