I'm in the UK and just been watching an Australian true crime documentary. I'm shocked at the seemingly lenient sentencing for murder. 8 years for a woman for conspiracy to murder and 5 years for a man for attempted murder.
12 years minimum for a man who horrifically murdered his wife and the mother of his child.
Any Aussie MNers have any thoughts on this?
