Charity Christmas cards? Esp with Christian imagery? Salvation Army?

Hello

Please excuse me posting here about Christmas already but seeing as it's for chariteeee please let me off!

I thought the obvious answer for charity Christmas cards, esp those with Christian images on would be the Salvation Army but they seem to be encouraging people to send e-cards and donate money instead. Unless I'm missing something, I don't think they are selling actual cards. I do have some elderly relatives however who still appreciate a good old-fashioned card.

Any recommendations? So they money should go to a good cause AND there should be an option for cards with images like Jesus, Wise Men, etc as well as Santa/robins/Christmas trees.

Thank you!

I usually get mine from Whistlefish - their cards are beautifully made and look far more expensive than they are. I've got about 15 tins full of them as I get them on offer.

Our local cathedral shop is selling Food Bank cards with a Christian theme (National Food Banks, not a local one)

Perhaps a local charity shop will have them, unless it’s a bit early

Oxfam usually have lots of religious cards.

Tearfund cards sold through any number of places online. I’ve bought them for years and can always find nice ones.

Or try bigger local churches/Christian charities like Christian Aid, Tearfund etc.

Spanielsarepainless · 13/10/2022 13:39

Our local hospice has some nice Christian ones, and it says Happy Christmas inside.

Our library does a charity card sale, I think most towns have one in a public building somewhere. Has cards of all descriptions from numerous charities most of whom do not have their own shops on the High Street.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 13/10/2022 13:45

Our town centre church always has a stall selling lots of different charity cards, inc. some with religious images. It’s usually open from around the 20th-ish of October. AFAIK a lot of churches do the same.
