Trying to see some positive stories here and see how things ended up differently for people and how sometimes that was a good thing.
For example one of my friends wanted a really close age gap but ended up taking ages to TTC her second. She hated her job and wanted to get another baby in as had good maternity pay but it was taking so long she actually quit her job and accepted she might not get maternity leave if it happened. She quit and guess what she finally got pregnant. 😂 But then she actually found something else where she could work from home and her DH got a pay rise so it sort of worked out in the end and she says the age gap (3.5 years) is waaaay easier than if it had happened right away.
Another friend was also taking a while to conceive her second then went for her regular smear and needed cells removed! So thanks f* she hasn’t fallen pregnant beforehand so she had got her regular check. I don’t know if that was affecting TTC at all. Anyway now she’s got her two and is trying for a third!
