What are the Cadburys mystery flavours?

I left it too late to enter the competition because I forgot all about it but I'm curious to know what others think they are? Apparently all will be revealed tomorrow.

I'm going with Shrimps and bananas for bar 1 and raspberry ripple ice cream for no 2.

My son reckons strawberries and cream for number 1 and we didn't try number 2

Oh, I'd forgotten about the mystery flavours! I think we thought 1 had banana in it and 2 was a floral flavour (perhaps rose?)

I picked hazelnut for no.1
And raspberry for no. 2

I couldn't tell. They didn't have a strong taste at all. I am interested to know what they were though

I love how different our answers are.

It's now been revealed that no 1 was Rhubarb and custard and 2 was Blue raspberry slushie.

Well that is a suprise.

The only thing I knew is that I thought that the flavours were revolting and I actually threw away the rest of the bar after having 1 square which is unheard of for me.

The I guessed raspberry for bar 2 so was close. They both kind of tastes like soap though, neither was nice.

We tried them at work for a bit of fun, and not a single person enjoyed them. Which is saying something, as the majority are chocolate lovers.

I'm really surprised by the flavours, and wonder if Cadbury's have plucked 2 random ideas from nowhere, as they didn't taste anything like the 2 flavours they claim to be.

CaramelJones · 14/10/2022 10:48

I quite liked them. They aren't flavours that I'd choose to eat regularly but I enjoyed them. I bought a few bars of the no 2 which Tesco were selling for 38p. I agree that they didn't really taste like the flavours though I did pick up on the raspberry but I thought it was raspberry ripple.

Forgot about these, thanks for sharing the flavours OP! We liked the first one. We tasted jam and coconut so guessed Manchester tart, although that was probably too obscure. The second tasted the same but without the coconut, quite Turkish Delight-y, but as that already exists we couldn't think of anything else!

tigger1001 · 14/10/2022 17:41

Wow I am surprised at the flavours, especially the first one. I love rhubarb and custard in real life - that chocolate bar didn't taste of that at all. They actually tasted very similar to me - bit worrying as the flavours they were supposed to be are very different!
