Birmingham trains

Hi,

Anyone have any knowledge of trains/transport in Birmingham please?

I would need to get back from a concert at Villa Park (so assume 11pm ish possibly) and get back into the City. I need to get back with my mum who is in her 70s and can walk but not far (less than 20 mins ideally). Would trains run from either Witton or Aston on a Tuesday night late? It looks to me like they do but wanted reassurance.
We are staying close to New Street station so would be ideal if we could get a short train.
I know taxis don't tend to pick up from concerts as roads too blocked or closed.

It's not until next June but I'm a planner/massive over thinker!

Thanks :)

I'm not sure what times the trains from Witton or Aston stop ( have a look on trainline). However, if they aren't then you could definitely get a bus into the city centre as they will be running till late (prob 1230). Think number 7 runs on that route.

Just looked in my app. Trains still running from Witton till approx 2345.
Bus is number 7 and bus stop closer but they will only be running every 30 min.

Public transport is very Good in Birmingham. Its not far from Villa Park into the city centre. But I will say the area around Villa Park isn't great so you don't want to be hanging around. It should be busy though following a concert.

So closer to the time look at train times etc
