Putting a private registration on a motobility car?

Has anybody done this?

I know you can do it but I just wondered if it is as straightforward as I would like it to be, or if it's a complication I could do without!

Really easy - Motability sorted it all out, we have had it on 2 different vans now.

They did ask what the plate was at first, when I said it spells DD’s name (it’s her vehicle) they were quite happy.

Thank you, I was hoping this would be the case.
