Autumn decor but not Hallowe'een

Hello
For religious reasons, we don't "celebrate" Hallowe'en.
But I find autumn really hard.
Has anyone seen any particularly nice decorations that are just like leaves, pumpkins etc? But nothing of the spooky variety?! I suppose I could...actually...buy...a pumpkin?!!!
Thanks

Yes, I have seen autumn leaf wreaths in places like Tesco. Seasonal, not not spooky.

Refrosty · 11/10/2022 18:27

Yeah there's some around the normal stores like B&M, The Range, Home Sense etc. I'm religious so do not do Halloween, but certainly yes to Autumn decor!

I've just returned from America, that's where you'll find a treasure trove of 'fall' decor! I bought a beautiful blanket decorated with autumn leaves, pumpkins and such. We're not on their level but you can definitely find things in the normal stores.

NC because I’ve uploaded this image onto social media but this is my Autumnal decor. I made the leaf garland out of felt and ordered the foam pumpkins from Amazon.

Oh lovely, thanks!
Yes I've been inspired by some American bloggers I follow who seem obsessed with "fall" decor!

Home sense and tk maxx had some nice autumy decs when I went in this week

Normandy144 · 11/10/2022 18:40

The best places are tk maxx and homesense as they import stuff from the US. Having said that though they usually have sold out by now. If you're ever in the US or Canada from August onwards you can usually stock up.

Ppumpkin · 11/10/2022 18:40

There are some lovely velvet pumpkins too, I’m tempted by those next!

Immeltinnnnngggg · 11/10/2022 18:42

I do sunflowers ,toadstools, leaves and pumpkins.

Lozzybear · 11/10/2022 18:46

I have a relative who makes beautiful fabric pumpkins out of a massive range of fabric designs. Search on Etsy and I am sure you will find them 😊

Conkerqueen · 11/10/2022 18:58

I made a conker garland, got pumpkins from Amazon and hobby craft and some fake plastic leaves off eBay

Homesense have loads!! I have pumpkins galore, little frosted berries and leaves in bouquets, some acorns and other random autumnal bits. I'm the same, the usual suspects (homesense / b&m and white company) have good stuff in.

WorkerBeeeee · 11/10/2022 19:06

Ooh lovely ideas everyone thanks!
Yeah maybe I'm a bit late this year.
I don't think I have a tk maxx/homesense near me but I do have a Range and a B&M so will have a look.

Sainsburys have some lovely garlands and autumnal decorations

WorkerBeeeee · 11/10/2022 19:58

As usual I have caved and searched amazon. You can actually buy "bundles" of "fall decor" like fir cones, pumpkins, acorns, leaves. I think I'll set it up on the mantlepiece.

Can you knit? I have knitted some lovely pumpkins from free patterns online.

spuddy56 · 11/10/2022 20:25

I bought some mustard yellow candles and orangey fake eucalyptus leaves that have made a lovely autumnal table display. I love love love Autumn decorations to make a home feel cosy when it starts getting cold outside 😍

WorkerBeeeee · 11/10/2022 21:12

@HoundHound no, indeed, shame my grandmother isn't still here or I'd put her to work!

I've now bought some lovely artificial apples and oranges for the display I'm building in my mind!
