If you're cooking sausages in the oven rather than grilling or frying, how long do you cook them for and at what temperature? These sausages are nice thick porkies from the butcher, if that helps.
Also, what is the most effective way to de-salt a gammon steak ? My butcher said to run it under lukewarm water for a few minutes but I've found that doesn't help. I appreciate gammon is pork cured in salt but the saltiness is too much if left as it is.
