Toddler alarm clock anyone?

Has anyone tried one of these toddler alarm clocks and can recommend? The gro clock is supposed to encourage your child to remain in bed until a set time, with the blue stars making way for a yellow sunshine when it's time to get up! It sounds too good to be true but has got to be worth a go since my 2yo has started waking up yelling for us at 5.30am 😩

I read some Amazon reviews which were good BUT they said the blue night light is really too bright and you can't dim it. This doesn't sound great as my son is used to a dark room with only a very slight night light.

Can anyone recommend a good toddler alarm clock that's not too bright at night?

We use the gro clock for both children, it really did help the youngest with early waking. The blue night light can be dimmed low, or actually it can be turned off completely and the sun will still turn on in the morning. No bright night light, which would disturb my youngest too! There are often second hand ones on marketplace etc, much cheaper.

I found the gro clock so complicated, I threw it in the bin out of rage! Instead I got a cheap digital alarm clock and told her the time had to start with a 6 before she could get up. Worked just as well and she still has the clock in her room years later.

Ah great @Diamond263 so you can dim it. That sounds worth a try then! Do you think it will work with a 2.3 yo? 🙏🙏🙏

Whichever one you choose make sure they don't adjust it when your not looking or you'll have alarms going off at random times day and night! My son has a Vtech smart watch and I thought we had mice one night because all I could hear was this squeeking but it turned out it was just the alarm set on 'mouse'.😂
