Chocolate oranges

Has anyone see Terry’s chocolate oranges on sale yet? I’m seriously craving one and I hadn’t realised they were seasonal until now. I NEED one!

Literally just bought one in Sainsburys - £1!

DobbyTheHouseElk · 10/10/2022 16:00

Sainsburys are selling them. Don’t bother with the white chocolate version. It’s as sickly as it sounds. Milk chocolate all the way. Although they are a shadow of their former selves.

Emmaaa1990 · 10/10/2022 16:00

Definitely not seasonal where I am! They are on sale all year round!

Fairly sure they're on sale in our Sainsburys throughout the year with the boxes of chocolates. Maybe it's an individual store thing?

TheCityIgnites · 10/10/2022 16:01

Year round here and got one on its way to me in my online food shop delivery tonight 😋😋

JanePrentiss · 10/10/2022 16:02

Victoria spine covered in melted choc orange with Nutella in pkace of jam and cream. Yum.

ZeroFuchsGiven · 10/10/2022 16:04

They are sold all year round where I am but also the terrys chocolate orange bars are available in most shops and supermarkets.

7catsisnotenough · 10/10/2022 16:04

Do you live rurally with only a little shop? Because the milk or dark ones are sold year round any supermarket I've ever been in.
The white ones are harder to get during the year though.

cooolio · 10/10/2022 16:05

They're not seasonal. Asda sell them all year round

FTM2022SS · 10/10/2022 16:09

Coop £1!

Amazongirl9 · 10/10/2022 16:15

Tesco £1

CuriousCatfish · 10/10/2022 16:21

Tesco for a quid. The toffee crunch one is amazing.

Georgeskitchen · 10/10/2022 16:22

Anyone tried chocolate orange cheesecake? 🍊 😋😋

KangarooKenny · 10/10/2022 16:22

Seen them in spar and Tesco.

A Victoria what?!?! Grin

I love a Terry CO but really wish they were just a bit better chocolate. Tend to be that waxy texture now that suggests palm oil.

Not that that stops me!

WeeblesWibbleWobble · 10/10/2022 16:27

Tesco and places have all year

cookiecreammmpie · 10/10/2022 16:32

You can get them all year round for about a pound.

Picklewicklepickle · 10/10/2022 16:33

Am I the only one who finds like taste like wax now? I was really disappointed last time I ate one 😞

name985 · 10/10/2022 16:36

Very rural Scotland and certainly not seasonal here.

isthismylifenow · 10/10/2022 16:40

I just bought two last week! Which was exciting for me as I don't live in Terry's Chocolate Orange country.

I bought 2, one for my ds who is also a fan. He opened his right away (as ds's do) and he gave me a slice. Bloody hell, what has happened to them? 🙈. They aren't nice anymore. I could not eat more than one slice I reckon as it's so super rich, and just bleugh.

I haven't had one in a few years, but the disappointment....

Mine is still in the cupboard. Not even ds has been tempted to nick it.

Why do they mess with these things. I'd rather just have a Flake now in all honesty.

Cost a bloody fortune too 🙈🙈🙈

SarahShorty · 10/10/2022 16:42

They're not seasonal. And it's not Terry's, it's mine!

MintyGreenDreams · 10/10/2022 16:42

I love the popping candy ones

You are not alone, we sent them to Room 101 to keep the Dairy Milk company around 5 years ago. 🤮

EndlessMagpies · 10/10/2022 17:03

They did lemon ones once. The dark chocolate lemon was fab. Haven't seen them again.
