Woolley Grange

Bit of a niche question but has anyone been to Woolley Grange before? We are going during the October holidays and only have one full day there - I'm trying to decide whether to book Longleat tickets or whether there's so much going on in the hotel and grounds that we will just want to stay put. We live a long, long way away so wouldn't normally have the opportunity to visit Longleat.

I've been a good few years back. There isn't loads to do at the hotel. What there is you can do at end of day - after day out.

I'd book longleat for sure.

I took kids for day out to bath whilst there which was nice

Kids thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and remember it a few years on

We’ve been going for years.

It’s definitely worth booking longleat tickets but phone the hotel before you do, because they have a deal with the park for discounted admission.

The hotel grounds are great, but once you’ve swum, played in the playhouse bit and run around the lawns, there isn’t that much else

The pub in the village is worth walking to as a change from the hotel restaurant. It’s a flat 5 min walk on pavements, and has lots of blackberry bushes so was quite a nice trip

Enjoy ! We really like it there, and the staff are all very lovely
