ABBA Voyage - has anyone been?

I have questions! Going with DD (aged 15) later this month. On the dance floor!

1. Did you dress up?
2. What time did you get there?
3. How fabulous was it?

My DD just came out and loved it! They went to the afternoon performance so not many dressed up. She said it was amazing and has lost her voice from singing so much:)

Oh fantastic @Pinkandpurplehairedlady - I’m going on the Monday evening of half term so I can’t work out whether it will be dress up or dress down!

It’s fantastic! We didn’t dress up, but a lot of people did.
I went straight from the airport and got there about 20 mins before it started

We were seated but the dance floor looked much more fun.

Lots of people were dressed up when we went.

I'm going to the same show as you!! We have friends who went, they didn't dress up but said others did. We're seated, but I suspect not for long.

We went to MammaMia the Party and it was a mix there as well - no one really cared as everyone was out to have a good time and we ended up with spending time with a group fully dressed for the event and us in our evening gear.

Yep and it was brilliant! We had seats but right at the back so stood up and danced towards the end of the show.

Didn't dress up and tbh only saw maybe 5 people that had but I don't think it would matter either way. Totally loved it; we made a day of it and did shopping and meal first. Got there about 50 minutes before it started and no real queue

Yes, on the dance floor. But there were songs when even the seated people were standing singing and dancing. It honestly is the most fantastic show, you'll love it.

Yes i went on a Monday night. Dance floor is where its at. There's another thread on here of people who have been with logistics ideas etc.
It was so good I'm planning to.go again!

Didn't dress up, but lots of people did. I enjoyed it, but I couldn't get over the fact that audience was cheering people who are NOT THERE. The one word I couldn't get out of my head was "creepy". So ultimately, for me, it lacked that warmth and human connection that makes live performance so special. (Although the live band were excellent).
Maybe it would have helped if I'd have had more alcohol beforehand.....

Didn't dress up, we were in seats in front row - our seated block were all up and dancing. It was flipping fantastic - ENJOY!

DD and I are going end November Really looking forward to it and I'll need to get all the ABBA songs on the memory stick to sing along in the car !
