I was just thinking about how my husband always, always, every time says "throw your eyes to the sky" and it really fucking annoys me! I know I'm entirely unreasonable here and he can use whatever expression he chooses to but I still find myself thinking "just say 'roll your eyes' ffffs!" Another one, but only mildly irritating, is when he says "parching" to mean thirsty when the word is 'parched'.
I annoy myself when I push at a door that clearly says PULL not three feet from my face 🤦♀️
