Emetophobia trigger warning...is it a bug?

DD has just been sick twice all over me. We think she has an ear infection and are trying to get through to the doctor. I'm emetophobic and now completely freaking out that she's going to be sick again, that this is some sort of sickness bug and that we will all catch it.

Can ear infections make you vomit?
Would she have been sick again by now if it was a bug?

Help!

Also I am in the process of seeking help for my emetophobia and I did think it was working - turns on being vomited on is a step too far and I cannot cope!

I feel your pain as a fellow emetophobe. I wish you luck in challenging this because it is hard
Yes, ear (or other) infections can make people especially kids vomit. I hope that’s what this is. But also take the positives: she has been sick and you are coping. You can cope and you will cope

Oh I feel for you.

High temperature can make children be sick. Is it high? Can you bring it down?

Is she ok?

Thank you both.

She hasn't been sick again yet so I'm trying to remain rational.

Her temp was quite high but she's had calpol and that's brought it down a bit.

Good luck! Hope she gets better soon
